Dub Tourney is a Mixed Tournament that will be held the weekend of August 22nd and 23rd 2009 in Suttonian's RFC in Sutton.

Matches start at 11a.m. both days, and the Final is scheduled for 4p.m. on Sunday so tell family and friends to come along.

Only 1 more day till the fun begins! The clubhouse will be open from 5 onwards so see you all there.

- Format -

Games will be to 13 with a time cap of 60mins and mirrored half (2mins) when a team gets to 7. Each team will have 1 time out (2mins) per half. When the hooter goes time starts running. When it goes again time is over. Finish the point and if the point difference is 2 or less then add 1 to the higher score and play a game to that (unless 13 comes first). E.g. 10-8 after last point is a game to 11. 10-7 after last point and the game is over. Time outs CAN be taken in the cap if they have not been used already.

The final will be played to 90mins and will have a point cap of 15.

Regisration is now open. It will be open until July 31st. The first 15 teams to email us with the below info will be accepted. The 16th spot is for the pick up team. Please email dubtournament2009@gmail.com with the following:

The team fee will be €200 per team with no player fees. Once we have received your registration email we will send you the bank account details for your teams payment.
